Evergreen Full-Moon Pendant
The moment this dendritic agate showed up in my life about four years ago, I knew exactly what it should be. Then I snapped this photograph of the 2023 rare blue supermoon, and it was obvious that it was about time to make this piece. My Evergreen Full-Moon Pendant demonstrates how the microcosm is a fractal of the macrocosm.
The 18k-gold three branches with 24k-gold needles shine against the domed patinaed (blackened) silver background. There are five diamond stars that set in gold along with one large, gold star, which is reminiscent of Sirius, one of the brightest stars in our sky.
The 2023 Blue Supermoon
This was a pleasure to create, because - basically - the agate and moon gave me the vision, and I was simply their hands to create it. Sometimes I take them for granted when life gets in the way; however, it’s an honor to be reminded of and work with such natural beauties.
