The bloodstone cabochon is a perfect example of how the microcosm is a fractal of the macrocosm. Before working on this lovely piece, it reminded me of the fog rising from a mountain stream between ranges. And then serendipitously, the scene appeared (pictured) on the very day that this piece was completed, making it - in my humble opinion - a very special piece for anyone who is a nature lover.
