Dendritic Opal Snow Pendant: Three Pearls

Part of my Winter Wonderland Collection, the dendritic opals are reminiscent of snowy mountains and slopes. Therefore, I designed the piece around the story of skiing, snowboarding, sledding, hot chocolate, etc. The dendritic opal has an 18k gold bezel, bail, and handmade pearl caps. The backplate is fine-silver, and the front (of the backplate, which shows through the stone) has been patinaed black. Three Akoya-cultured pearls dangle at the bottom of the piece.

Crystal Lore:
Dendritic opal is known as the “Stone of Plentitude” as it is associated with all abundant things such as prosperity, family, friends, etc. It is said to be grounding and connects one with earth energies. It is associated with the Gemini and Virgo signs as well as the Root and Crown Chakras.

Pearl has been said to strengthen our connection with the cosmos’ divine energies according to several traditional and historical religions. It resonates with the etheric bodies thus harmonizing the wearer’s aura. It is associated with the Third Eye chakra as well as the Gemini and Cancer signs.
