This piece was made to honor the rattlesnake in my backyard who, like Wadjet - the Ancient Egyptian cobra goddess, daughter of Ra, & whose jewelry of her were worn for protection - protects my home (and keeps those pesky rodents at bay). I wanted to show her my gratitude and honor her with this piece.
